Stuck on one piece?
We'll point you the right way.

I'm Puzzled is a gentle assistant for jigsaw puzzles — not a solver. Show it a piece, and it nudges you toward where it belongs on the board. Show it a spot on the board, and it helps you spot the piece. No pressure, no full answer — just a little help when you're stuck.

A nudge, not the answer

Plenty of research has focused on solving an entire puzzle by computer. I'm Puzzled does the opposite: it stays out of the way until you're stuck, then gives you just enough of a hint to keep going.

A partially assembled forest puzzle with one missing piece, its empty gap glowing bright amber to show where the next piece belongs.
As you place pieces, the target spot lights up too.

Two-way matching

Point your device at a loose piece and I'm Puzzled highlights where it fits on the board. Or point at an open spot on the board, and it highlights the piece that belongs there. Either direction works — whichever way you naturally get stuck.

It's built for the frustrating middle of a puzzle, not the whole thing: a small assist when you've been staring at one gap for ten minutes, not a machine that finishes it for you.

Puzzles are meant to be shared at the table

Standard jigsaw puzzles aren't designed with accessibility in mind — the pieces are tiny, the colors can be hard to tell apart, and the whole board is easy to lose track of. I'm Puzzled adds the missing accommodations, on top of any ordinary puzzle.

Audio & haptic cues

Distinct sounds and vibration patterns guide you toward a match without needing to see fine detail — built for visually impaired puzzlers.

Magnification & contrast boost

Zoom in on tricky pieces and boost edge contrast — a real help for elderly puzzlers or anyone with reduced vision.

Color swapping

Remap colors that are hard to tell apart into ones that aren't — so colorblindness doesn't have to mean sitting out.

Training tools for the competitive side

Not everyone using I'm Puzzled is stuck — some people are trying to get faster. The same matching engine doubles as a coach: technique tips and feedback aimed at shaving time off your next solve.

Pacing feedback

See where time actually goes — sorting, edges, matching — so you know what to practice, not just your final time.
